Under Microscope

It's another world under the microscope.

Toothbrushes get older as they are used. Most people know that they need to be replaced every 3 to 4 months. These images show one set of toothbrush bristles from a new brush and another from an old one. It can be observed that the older bristles are worn out with many micro-cracks which house germs. Two of the images are lit from above and the other two are lit from below to capture different details under different lighting conditions.
