Under Microscope

It's another world under the microscope.

This small sample shows the epidermis of an onion. Individual cells of the onion are particularly large. The nucleus of each cell is also visible as a single dark dot in each cell. The cells of the onion epidermis have cellulose walls and it has a somewhat angular shape.
